Программа стабилизации цен на продукцию фермерских хозяйств; впервые предложена министром сельского хозяйства [Secretary of Agriculture] Брэннаном [Brannan, Charles] в апреле 1959. Предусматривала прямые выплаты фермерам для поддержания стабильного уровня цен на сельхозпродукцию. Оппоненты называли программу чрезвычайно дорогой, сторонники же считали ее наиболее эффективным и дешевым способом субсидирования сельского хозяйства. Программа неоднократно обсуждалась в Конгрессе [Congress, U.S.] с некоторыми корректировками, но так и не получила законодательной поддержки
